As part of our commitment to the health of those we serve, we spend time in the community promoting healthy living and prevention through screenings, wellness classes and support programs hosted throughout Fairfield County. Working together, we are creating a healthier community by empowering residents to take charge of their health.

Greater Norwalk Area Community Health Assessment and Improvement Plan
In partnership with Norwalk and other area Health Departments, Norwalk Hospital completed the 2012 health assessment, which identified the most prominent health issues facing our community. The Greater Norwalk Area Community Health Improvement Plan Initiative has made great strides in planning, strategizing and collaborating with community partners on several emerging areas identified through the comprehensive assessment process.
