Changing relationship issuesThese forums are led by a nurse clinician and an American Cancer Society “Reach to Recovery” volunteer. Newly Diagnosed Breast Cancer Support Group

3rd Wednesday of Month, @ 7:00 pm  - The focus of this group is education for the newly diagnosed person. Women today are frequently faced with confusing options for the treatment of breast cancer. This special support group . . .

  • Replaces the unknown with the known
  • Empowers breast cancer patients to take charge

  • Listens openly to each patient's concerns

  • Encourages women to voice their individual need

  • Offers hope by caring

  • Provides timely education about treatment for breast cancer
  • Provides individual ongoing support as needed

Cancer Survivorship Special Speaker Sessions

These sessions are for any cancer survivor and offer a forum for pertinent topics such as nutrition, complementary/integrative medicine modalities and side effect management.

Two sessions per year are dedicated to breast cancer patients.

Sessions are held at 6 pm in the Whittingham Cancer Center.

Bereavement Group  

Mondays from 5:15 pm - 6:45 pm  - This support group focuses on the emotional and practical needs of those dealing with a loss. The group is open to family members and friends who have lost someone from any type of loss, not just cancer.
