Outpatient Services

At Norwalk Hospital, we offer a variety of outpatient behavioral health services, including individual psychotherapy and outpatient group therapy and an intensive outpatient program.

We provide assessment and treatment for adults, couples and families who are struggling to cope with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Mood disorders
  • Divorce and separation
  • Grief and bereavement
  • Substance abuse
  • Parenting issues
  • Psychotic disorders

Individual, Family and Group Therapy

We offer individual and family psychotherapy, Monday through Friday, with evening hours available.

Group Therapy

Our group therapy program offers an opportunity for growth and development of social skills in an interactive and confidential environment.

All groups are led by a trained professional. Most groups have six to eight members. A wide variety of groups are available and include:

  • Addiction recovery
  • Anger issues
  • Anxiety disorders
  • Co-occurring disorders
  • Dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT)
  • Early recovery issues
  • Life skills
  • Mood disorders
  • Relapse prevention
  • Spanish-speaking group
  • Women’s intergenerational group
