Dental Clinic

The Norwalk Hospital Dental Clinic serves people of all ages with a particular emphasis on care for the uninsured, under-insured and disabled. Services include: 

    • Restorative dentistry Gum (periodontal) treatment 
    • Extractions Facial fractures 
    • Orthodontic care 
    • Temporomandibular joint treatment 
    • Tumors Correction of dental facial deformities 
    • Orthodontic care 

Dental care may be provided in our outpatient clinic, located at 34 Maple St., 203-852-2146; ambulatory surgical center; or during inpatient care when necessary.

Dental Surgery

The oral and maxillofacial surgeons at Norwalk Hospital treat a variety of diseases, injuries and deformities of the face, mouth, jaws and their associated structures. Procedures they perform include: 

  • Dento-alveolar surgery 
  • Dental implant surgery 
  • Removal of impacted teeth 
  • Treatment for traumatic facial and mouth injuries 
  • Corrective jaw surgery 
  • TMJ treatment 
  • Oral and maxillofacial pathology and infections. 

Our oral and maxillofacial surgeons provide emergency department coverage for oral surgery consultation and maxillofacial traumatic injuries, along with in-hospital consultations. Other services may be performed in our private offices.
