Norwalk Hospital is proud to announce the appointment of Edward Mahony, as the new Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Norwalk Hospital. Mr. Mahoney replaces Diane Allison who completed her term as Chairman. Mr. Mahony was unanimously approved for office at the Norwalk Hospital annual meeting yesterday.
Edward Mahony joined the Norwalk Hospital Board of Trustees in 2011, serving as a member of several Board Committees, including finance, audit/corporate compliance and quality. “Ed is a valued member of the Board of Trustees. It’s an honor to be working with him as we continue to improve access to a broadening array of high quality, healthcare services,” shared Michael Daglio, President of Norwalk Hospital.
Mr. Mahony began his career at Purdue Pharma, LP as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He was name Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 1999, with responsibility for all fiscal, procurement, and information technology departments.
“I’m excited and grateful for the confidence the Board has placed in me and look forward to guiding the many opportunities Norwalk Hospital has in its bright future,” shared Mahony.
