Tai Chi

A gentle form of exercise, often referred to as meditation in motion.

Practiced in China for hundreds of years, tai chi helps relieve stress, increases strength and flexibility, and improves balance, coordination and circulation. Tai chi’s slow and graceful movements make it easy to practice, regardless of your age or level of physical fitness. While tai chi improves overall physical and mental health, it’s also an effective martial art.

Date: 8-week series, held on Thursdays

Time: 5:00-5:45 p.m. for Intermediate; 5:45-6:30 p.m. for Advanced

Location: Norwalk Hospital’s Patio Room

Cost: Beginners: $40; Intermediate and Advanced: $60
